FRYOG POST-GRADUATE MEDITATION COURSE
TUTOR: Kathleen Pepper, M.A. Dip. FRYOG
(Also open to those who wish to develop their own meditation practice)
The course will begin on Sunday 13th October 2007 and meet once a month, at Keys Yoga Centre in Ealing, London, finishing in April 2007. This meditation
course will consider several traditions and approaches to meditation. It will give participants a thorough
grounding in their own practice and provide many useful skills in teaching meditation and the confidence to do so. One of the aims of the course
is to give as wide an approach as possible, so that participants will finish the course with the skills and confidence to teach meditation. There
are many approaches and different peopl get on with different ones. Once the energies are awakened in yoga practice,
students need guidance into the deeper practices of meditation.
Participants will have the opportunity to work with different breathing practices, study nada yoga, the yoga of sound and mantra, work with
mandalas and produce some of their own, and look at some of the latest research findings into the brain and meditation and research into visualisations
for healing. Alongside the meditation practices, there are home study tasks to take people deeper into meditation practice. One of the aims of
the course is for participants to be able to write a course in meditation for their own teaching purposes. There will be a post-graduate certificate
in the teaching of meditation to those who successfully complete the course. For costs and further information, telephone Kathleen on 020 8560
7201 or see www.keystolight.co.uk.
